ABOUT BostInno

Founded in 2008, BostInnovation aims to help startups in the area succeed by connecting local innovators and increasing communication around startup buzz. After a brief stint as a wiki and then as a Tweet aggregator, BostInno was re-launched on December 7, 2009, as a new media property focused on the creation of original content about Boston’s innovation ecosystem. BostInnovation is seizing the opportunity to galvanize and unify the tech community at-large and to help promote and cover the events Boston’s tech community has to offer.

BostInnovation’s goal is to be the preeminent news outlet for Boston’s fast-paced innovation economy. BostInnovation’s audience includes startupers, early adopters, social mediaites, entrepreneurs, influencers, real-estaters, marketers, proud parents, PR firms, advertising agencies, law firms and tech journalists. The primary focus of our content is:

  • Profiling Boston’s hottest startup companies.
  • Announcing new product launches, particularly in the consumer web, gaming and mobile spaces.
  • Exploring social media and new marketing strategies.
  • Sharing top category lists from the world of social media.
  • Unearthing exceptional stories about the people running startups.
  • Profiling non-startup companies that are making an impact (commercial and/or cultural) on the innovation economy.
  • Previewing and recapping events around the Hub.
