
Twitter is a great resource for clean tech info
In the niche world of clean technology, I’ve found Twitter to be great for connecting with industry professionals as well as filtering the Internet to get the news that I want. The best part of clean tech is collaboration, and the idea that “We’re all saving the world,” makes people very open. I’ve exchange many tweets with Renewable Energy CEOs and other prominent professionals because I simply wanted to get their opinions on issues.
Without further adieu, here are my favorite clean tech tweeters from across the U.S. in no particular order:

Blogs for Renewable Energy World and also has his own blogs. Provides useful insights into the solar industry.
@EnergyCircle – Peter Troast – Energy Circle
The home energy efficiency KING! Everything you ever wanted to know or buy about home energy efficiency. And he’s from Maine so he’s super cool.
@Jeff_groSolar - Jeff Wolfe (what an awesome name) – CEO groSolar
CEO of one of the larger solar electric (photovoltaic) and solar thermal installers / distributors in New England and California: groSolar.
@SolarIndustry – Solar Industry Magazine
Official Twitter account of the largest trade publication for solar industry professionals.
@AWEA – American Wind Energy Association
Official Twitter account of AWEA, and the voice of the American wind industry.
@solarfeeds – Scott Weitzman – Solar Feeds Network
The largest Solar News Network with over 150 contributors.
@REWorld – Renewable Energy World
They call themselves “The Worlds No. 1 Renewable Energy Network,” so they make sure their reach is broad.

Clean Technology, Alternative Energy, Resource Efficiency, Green Building, Sustainable Transportation, Environment, Climate Change & Green Jobs. They have it all.

Provide up-to-date information on the green building industry.
@firstwind – First Wind
Large wind farm developer, owner and operator based in Boston (woot woot!) in the Northeast, the west coast and Hawaii.
